I have poor credit and about 12,000 of random debt I need to consolidate or lower interest rates. Credit Unions won't give me a loan to consolidate and credit cards won't let me open accounts to transfer balances. Any ideas?

Check with your Chamber of Commerce to determine if there is a REPUTABLE site in your city where you can get free counseling about how to resolve your dilemma.
Please do not respond to ads on the TV or radio promising you free consolidation - they are usually a scam.

stop using credit cards, save money, pay it off little by little, in time your credit will improve. you can try the debt consolidation companies but that will decimate your credit score even more.
