I had them pierced when I was 16 at Clair's (they use a gun) and they got infected and I let them close about 3 weeks later. It's been 11 years, I want them pierced again. A piercing place (like in a tattoo shop) costs a TON. I'm not going back to some place with a gun. Is there a middle ground that's clean and safe that DOESN'T cost over $100?

piercing at a tattoo shop should definately not cost any where near $100, at most it should be about $30. either the tattoo shops in your area are seriously ripping people off or you should explore more places that do ear piercing. honestly the best and most professional job you will find is going to be at a tattoo/piercing place. everywhere else will most likely use an earing gun instead of a needle.

Go to a jewlery store, they are qualified people usally. Dont be a wimp, the gun isnt gonna kill you . Just next time keep the spot clean ,with peroxide and dont use cheap earings. Use silver ,platinum or gold.

Does nowhere count? What's so bad about your body that you want to have it changed? Unpierced ears are more beautiful and get less infection and fewer complications.

give claire's another try. you probably just got a bad piercer. everyone i know who's had their ears pierced at claire's has had no problem.
