A friend of mine always complain of his new boss who's always insulting him. My friend use to be a very cheerful person, but now he's been like lost in his own world. How could I cheer him up and boost his confidence back?

Tell him he has to ignore his boss and focus on doing his job. People usually bother you for a response. Maybe he will get bored and move on to someone else

Just let him know the boss needs him more than he needs the boss! Ignore the tripe! When you respond in any way they win. Be your friend's friend! Go out for a pint!
