using the calculation I learned in nursing school.

My guess is on or about 12/ 10/ 05. how I came to this is--------- I have 9 children ages 19 mo.s-16 years. As a general rule; if you know when the 1st day of your last period was. then you "+7 -3 +1", Add 7 days, then subtract 3 months and add 1 year that will tell you your due date. Now as in your case, if your baby was born full term, 40 weeks gestation. (they can tell you this in the hospital when your baby is born, or else your childs doctor, could tell you. So you have to account for the difference, if your child was born preterm, or beyond.) back to 40 weeks gestation, you subtract 7 days, and add 3 months, and subtract 1 year.= 12/20/05. That will be the 1st day of your last period, if you didn't have extra's. Then if you know when you ovulate, it helps. usually about 7-14 days before your period begins. So take 12/20/05and subtract 7-14 days, and you come up with sometime between 12/06/05, and 12/13/05. So my guess is 12/10/05. Hope this helps. It was always right on for me.

When did the doctor determine your due date? A early ultrasound gives you the best due date. There is definatly no way possible your due date was so far spaced out.Was your baby premature? If your baby was not considered early your doctor must have gotten their P.H.D from an online course, or you may be trying to convince yourself or the suspected father that he really is the father. There is no way possible a due date could be this far off.Its not 1906 its 2006 and technology is on point.

Do a yahoo search for conception date calendar or even a estimated due date calendar sometimes they provide the date of conception. It can give you a rough estimate. Also WebMD will give you a estimate if you make the calendar.
