lol, you must be as tired as i am. I drink the mountain dew amp energy drink. I notice my 2 month old sleeps less when i do ( shorter naps and more alert but not fussy) and spits up alot more. try and drink it right after you breastfeed or 2 hrs or more before the next feeding if you are worried bout it. that usually works for me. Good Luck!

Doctors do advise not to consume certain things while breastfeeding , and caffeine is one of them.A small amount will be passed through your breast milk but as long as you don't over do it i'm sure your baby will be fine. I'm sure your baby won't start doing jumping jacks from what little amount is actually passed through your breast milk. If your baby seems to be more fussy than usual then you will know better next time. Good Luck. I'm not a doctor but i have breastfed all 6 of my children.

A very bad idea. You dont want to hype your baby up on caffeine. And the baby will get it from your breastmilk.

If it makes you uppity, it makes your baby uppity, on the other hand also, if it makes you sleepy, baby gets sleepy too. I think most energy drinks have ingrediants unsafe for breastfeeding anyways.

Yes, maybe you should purchase a book, ie. "Parenting for Dummies"

p.s. If you drink alcohol and breastfeed, your baby will get drunk.

if they tell us to cut our daily intake of caffine if we are to breastfeed, i take it has some affect to the milk...therefore, energy drinks would probably have an affect too.

don't know but probably not a good idea to put that stuff if your body while breastfeeding your child. it's not good for you so it's definitely not good for your baby
