there are none - it's a one story house

You must be meaning the stairs to the terrace.
Anyway, since you are asking, there must be some stairs.
What I know for sure is that all stairs that we really need to go up, are green like the grass on the other side !

Your question lacks enough information. Some one story houses are high enough above the ground that they have exterior stairs leading up to the entrance. Since they are outside the house they wouldn't necessarily be green.
Also some one story houses have stairs that lead to the attic.

well, it could be the fold down stairs to the attic
or, the front steps
both of these could possibly be considered as not IN the house
there could also be tiny stairs on the doll house, a stair-stepper excersizer, and all manner "pet" stairs
so, I think, based on the confidence which stairs are implied in the question, we can believe that they are they are there in the house and therefore green

The stairs would be purple, and on the outside of the house, to contrast with the orange exterior walls of the house, and the green interior.

I see you have many correct answers to your inane Q, as well as some that go beyond the obvious. It bgs me to ask you however, WHY ask that here?
It would seem you lack imagination, and/or depth, as well as be in serious need of attention.
Why not ask questions such as What is "the" or "A" philosophy behind a Green House? OR,,, "Where might "stairs" be compared to where one wants to go?" in a metaphorical sense. OR,,, "what purpose did I have to ask this Q here?"
