Well I guess you and I have big difference on what doing well is. She never finished higher than 30th. The only thing that was interesting about her was wondering how long it was going to take for leader to lap her. I thought the reason that team was called "BAM" was for the amount of cars she took out. When she was replaced with Kenny Schrader they did better right away. Right now she along with Buckshot Jones are were they belong watching races from the safety of their own homes.

She is one of the handful of female drivers that had a chance to race in cup.But for the most part unfortunately this was just for publicity and to secure sponsorship and open a market for new racefans.
But she was a very good driver but got the wrong end of the deal for teams with low budgets, then when the teams got a little better sponsor she was cut for a more proven male driver.Such is the life in this Field.

One word: Performance. She wasn't performing and wasn't showing promise of improvement, thus she lost her ride. I would imagine that the only way should would have a full-time ride right now is if she funded the team herself. She was a decent driver in the lower ranks, but you have to be better than that to make it in NASCAR.

She finished okay and wrecked a lot of cars in the process. If she was a man this question wouldn't even be getting asked, because her number one selling point is being a woman... And that just wasn't enough.

She didn't run well enough that's all there is to it. In order to break into this man's sport a woman is going to have to go out there and win races before anyone will even think about giving her a major sponsor.

what races were you watching? i never saw her finish in the top 30, or on the lead lap. i remember what junior said about her after she wrecked him in texas when he was running in the top 5. he said, "they need to get her a faster car, because it's getting pretty hard to pass her every 10 laps or so".

I think she took the path of Kelly Earnhardt. After the kids start popping out, time for mommy to hang up her helmet.
Now, will you answer my question too, please?

I don't think she had a very good ride. Maybe she would be more competitive in a good car.
