generally, the United States is the only country to use the english system of measurement. the rest of the world for all intents and purposes uses the SI (system international) System, commonly called the metric system, which unlike the English system which has a base 12, the Metric system has a base 10 which is simpiler if you ask me.

There is a software called Babylon that is a dictionary but also do your work.
