Use the digits 1-9 once only to form a true multiplication problem.?

Like the equation, 3486x2=6972, but the numbers 1 and 5 are not listed and the numbers 6 and 2 are listed twice. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

How about any combination using 987654321 and multiplying it to zero, since zero is not in the first nine it may be used twice...? Your problem never said that zero could NOT be used twice and each number would be used ONCE.

Here's close but no cigar:

1234.5 * 8 = 9876 eight is used twice.
