The directors and several cast members had already made it clear that the story is told. Yes it stinks that Trinity died and Neo's fate is less than clear, but I can't help but think that Trinity might have caused unintentional trouble trying to protect Neo in the process of completing the deal if she had lived.
Those who paid close attention to the movie will realize that the whole story has gone full circle. I think that the Matrix Revolutions will go down as one of the most underrated motion pictures of the early 21st century.
But those who have difficulty accepting the end of the Matrix Revolutions have no fear. The Matrix Online(an interactive real-time game you can play from a website courtesy of software) is available courtesey of the Wachowski brothers. Various actors and actresses from the movie reprise their roles for the movies.

Like what Travis said where the movie left off the Matrix Online continued. Not many people took to the game and the story got even worse.
If you thought Neo and Trin dying was bad. Morpheus is killed when he runs out a door and as he turns a masked person shoots him. LAME!!!! Come on now. There is no one left.
I wish there would be another one. I loved these movies. I was consumed by the first one and after watching Reloaded I knew what the third was about. I was the guru to my friends.
Here is a question. Will there ever be a movie that will consume me like "The Matrix" did?

good question? Don't know where the storyline would go. Neo is carried off by the machines and the war was temporary over. What else is there to go with this. I guess the ultimate happy ending would be the guy walking off with the girl into the path of the unknown where anything is possible, but trinity dies helping Neo save the world. I need help here????????????

Oh I hope so that movie had the best special effects and fight sequences. I was mad that Neo and Trinity were killed off. Maybe that killed the story line also. I don't think we will get a part 4

I sure hope so. Excellent movie, great sci-fi, great acting (in the original one). One of my favorite movies. It's got everything: Philosophy, action, irony, and imagination. Plus, it is not so far-fetched as it might seem. One of Keanu Reeve's best.

I think they will..with the right story line..they will generate some big bucks..as they have a pretty loyal following.
