tampons are way better than pads. i only wear pads at night b/c of the risk of toxic shock syndrome. but tampons are better for the daytime b/c they aren't as messy, you can hardly notice you're wearing one, they're comfortable, and they're easy to put in. and toxic shock syndrome is extremely rare, and only happens in cases where a girl goes 8+ hours without changing the tampon. you're suppose to change your tampon every couple of hours.

It kind depends on you the person... to me pads feel like diapers... pads are safer though...but tampons are lot more comfortable an easy to manage .. to me pads don't really last as long as tampons... the only thing with tampons is you can only leave them in for a certain amount of time like 8 hours at the most because you could get toxic shock syndrome... but this IS VERYVERYVERY rare .....so don't be scared.

tampons are defiently better not unless you are bad to get infections. I was always afraid to try a tampon but once I did I wouldn't turn back. I may wear a pad for lighter days. everyone is dif.

depends on what you are comfortable with.
i prefer tampons. i have the freedom of swimming when im on my period, im not sitting in my own fluid, i can still wear sexy underwear, and i dont have to change it as often as a pad.
PLUS, you cant feel them, tampons without applicators give you more for your money, and they're alot easier to carry with you then a pad is.
but tampons DO have SOME risk of TTS, its rare, so i wouldnt worry about it.

if u are berely startin i recommend pads but after a few months.
its all about the TAMPONS!!!!!
tampons are cleaner better and so much better lookin lol
nah really tampons are better
i only use pads at night just in case tat **** goin around doesnt happen.

if you use tampons, please make sure you use the organic cotton kind (from a health food store, or some major supermarket chains)! they come in all the sizes that mainstream ones do, are just as effective, and don't contain poisonous dioxin (used in bleaching process)!!! tampons will leave microscopic fibres in you. when you think that you're putting them in your most sensitive area, and they contain carcinogenic chemicals, it's pretty scary!
the natural ones work just as well and are SO much better for you! :)

PADS GURL!! lol. use pads. i think its alot safer and u dont have to be worrying about anything gettin stuck or going the wrong way. its a mess, plus nothing is suppose to be going in there and especially not a piece of plastic. Pads are alot safer and easier.

For convenience the tampons are.....BUT for health reasons the pads are better. I tried using them but had issues and I had to stop using them.Those ARE NOT good for you.

Pads always the best! no harm when insert the wrong place, no need to worry where inside, you can change it at anytime you have to. there's ultra thin or nite safe, have no fuzzy! If guy answers this. He should be want to be female. But no change to get period! Face it!!
