OK, I've been with this guy for over five years, He's never really been over weight but now he’s lost like 60 lbs. I love him but I just don't find him attractive any more! Does that make me superficial?

He didn't lose the weight for his heath> He wants to be someone else. He never eats and when doses he gets on the treadmil for an hour. He just a shadow of the man he used to be.

If you don't find him attractive because of the weight loss, then yes. Unless he is unhealthy, you should love the person, not the casing.

If you don't find him attractive because of the weight loss, then you don't love him.
Love means accepting someone no matter how they look. You will always find them attractive. Always.
You are superficial. Go find a different boyfriend and leave him to some other woman that will appreciate his loss and his kindness.

No, it makes you human. You can't help how you feel and you can't apologize for emotions that you cannot control. You were initially attracted to one thing and now that thing has become something else. You need an adjustment period. It's very possible that perhaps you don't really love this man and you need to take some time and reevaluate that.
Good home cooking can usually take care of a man's weight loss by the way. :) *wink*

I don't think you're as superficial as you are possibly jealous of him looking good...or you have some self esteem issues that were deeply seeded yourself.
When he was 60 pounds heavier, you were the one who looked "good", am I right?
And, after losing 60 pounds, I'm sure his attitude has changed. He feels GREAT about himself, and is letting the world know it.
Now, you just have to sit down with him and find out what you guys are going to do if you want to stick together.

You shouldn't label yourself as superficial just because you don't find him attractive anymore. To call yourself superficial as a guilt trip seems pretty harsh (i've said harsher things about myself) but if you can avoid saying a thing like that about yourself the better. I can't really say anything about your relationship but don't be too hard on yourself...hope everything turns out well...

Hell yes. Instead of being so self-involved and thinking how unattractive he is to you, I don't know, maybe pull your head out of your A S S and suggest that he sees a doctor. Did you ever take into consideration that weight loss like that may be caused by a serious medical condition such as cancer. Take some time and think of someone other than yourself and help him.

no ... can't control what you find attractive or not and if there is no more spark there then it'll fizzle. If you love him, maybe talk to him and see if he's willing to put back a few pounds?
