I was unaware that there are any such courses, but evidently some schools do offer them. If you are in a community college and wish to transfer, however, your best bet is to maintain the highest possible GPA and so impress your professors that they will write glowing letters of recommendation for you. Those letters can make a huge difference. Work hard and good luck!

There aren't necessarily Honors/AP Classes, but depending on the size of the college, each department (English, History, Engineering) will have an honors curriculum. This curriculum is a lot more advanced and general has smaller class size. These classes do nothing to enhance GPA, but they do look good.

definite, fairly AP training, on condition that they are technically college aspect. if you're doing nicely in an AP classification, it shows them that you're prepared to handle college training. in truth, that is continuously better effective to get a B in an AP/Honors classification than an A in its decrease aspect counterpart. maximum colleges require your counselors to fill out a range specifying no longer merely which training you took, yet what the utmost aspect presented at that college changed into too. So for instance, in case you're taking an time-honored aspect calculus classification yet AP calc is accessible, which will look on the kind. although, in case you're taking honors US heritage and your college would not provide AP US heritage, which will also look on the kind. So maximum of your faculties will comprehend no matter if you're taking the most frustrating courses presented at your extreme college or no longer.

AP or Honors classes are classes that give College Credit for work done before you go to college.
I am not aware of any colleges that have such a program, it simply wouldn't make sense.
