MY PERIOD WAS ALL SCREWED UP AND IRREGULAR BUT I GOT PREGNANT. I DIDNT GO BY WHEN I WAS OVULATING OR BY MY TEMP I JUST ENJOYED MYSELF AND IT HAPPENED.

The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate

i am also trying to get pregnant and have an irregular period the best way to start is to start by figuring when your period starts track it on a calender you can take your temp to see when you ovulate to. after a few months you can figure when the best time ti have sex is. about the middle of you month start on your first day of flow to first day of the next flow. hope that helps and you get prego real soon. also try one of the ovulation web sites there great.

Im a mother of four and I always had my periods all messed up. Can you tell when you are ovulating? do you get mild cramps and then get the discharge before your period? Thats how I always planned mine I could tell when I was ovulating and then I used that window of opportunity

My wife never did, but we got pregnant four times. It just makes knowing the due date a bit difficult but ultrasound figured out the date no problem, to the day for our last.

Some ladies such as my wife get their period while preggers. We didnt even know until 2 mos along!!

You can get one those ovulating test to help you tell when you are fertile.
