I'm happy for you, because it seems to be what you needed.
I've been divorced from my abusive husband for 5 years. I call the anniversary of my freedom my D-day.
Tomorrow I will be celebrating the 3rd anniversary of my second marriage. This one treats me beautifully!

On July 4 1863 the City of Vicksburg Mississippi fell after a long siege by Union forces. To the Northerners it was a cause for celebration because it happened on Independence Day. In the South it will forever be regarded as a day of mourning. Just a simple matter of perspective.

In Feb. my husband came into the bathroom while I was curling my hair and announced he was leaving. By March he had moved out and had a 22 yr old girlfriend (He is 34). I was hurt at first, but now I thank him and his tramp. I was married ten years, and I was never as happy or felt as satisfied with my life as I do now.
Congrat's and Good Luck to you.

Congratulations! I thought my divorce was the worst thing,,, now I see it is the best thing. I'm sure glad God gives us what we need instead of what we want. Even tho they are the same sometimes. Be good to yourself!

I'm so happy for you! I'm in the process and once the unethical idiots in the court system stop entertaining the moron I was married to I will have a happy freedom day too.
