I need black people!!!?

Im 1/2 black and I have both black and white friends
BUT why is it that black people get so mad about white people

its like this...my black friends can make fun of white people ALL day long and its cool. Even in front of white people and the white people dont care!
BUT my white friends say one thing in front of my black friends...(telling a black joke or something) and they get so MAD! Dont even mention the word slave! LOLZ they are haters!

I am stuck in the middle why are blacks so mad at whites and why cant we all be equals now in the 2000's?
my white friends dont care so why cant my black friends loosen it up???????????????

my daddys black. his great great grandaddy was a slave...
does he hold that against my mom or any other white people todaay? NO because that was then and this is now!
Why hold it against the people today? they back then were only souls just like you and I! and just like my mom and my family its not them that made slaves!
see i have it on both sides of my family and my family all loves my dad for who he is and they love me

So its OK for black people to make white jokes BUT it is not OK for white people to make black jokes???????

Girl, you need to find some new friends, If you had to ask a question like this, don't that say something to you? Anyways why do your friends want to say jokes about each other in front of you anyway, look find yourself some new friends, some that don't make racist jokes at each other.

I am a black woman and I hate that too. It's sickening for any race to do so. And it does seem like some blacks are more offended by this.
I feel if they can dish it out they should be able to take it too. Just like the N word they call themselves this everyday. All our ancestors and great leaders died over this ugly word and to make us equal to all and they use it as if it is cool. I have been told that the N word has been changed to something more positive in the slang world but if a white person or someone not of the black race uses this word all hell will break lose.
I feel your pain and frustrations its embarrassing and there are so so many times that I am ashamed.
But at the same time so many blacks are faced with portion of whites who are still being raised with the upbringing of their ancestors.
Its a no win battle.
Do you and continue to be you. You will go crazy trying to understand the race card. You can't change people but you can change your surroundings.

Look at it this way, if Chris Rock makes a racial joke about George Bush, it's all good. But let's say George Bush makes a racial joke about Chris Rock....it would be L.A. riots all over again, but worldwide. If another black person called me a ***** it wouldn't bother me...because they're ***** too. If a white person were to say that, then I would feel offended...depending on how well I knew the person as well.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is, sometimes it's offensive when you make jokes about another race other than your own. And, your 'black' friends are a bit uptight and need to loosen up a bit. If these are harmless jokes, then so be it. If the jokes are a bit more on the serious side...then maybe all of your friends need to just stop the jokes completely (at least in front of each other).

Talk to all of your friends, especially the ones that have issues with the jokes, if they can't loosen up then maybe you need to re-evaluate why they're your friends.

the reason is because- blacks spent soo many years trying to get away from racial jokes and acts so when somethng liek that is brought up we remember that white ppl are like they are back then . but whites never really suffered or not like blacks did so you can;t take it any other way if a black joke is brought up esp. from whites


and the reason we still hold a grudge for the girl below is b/c you want to forget the past the past will never be forgotton and as long as whites are still on this earth we will always hold a grude.

Slavery is nothing to joke about. As far as Im concerned we still owe white people a beat down for that one. If you want to joke about fried chicken and watermelon then its all jokes and laughs, but mention slavery to me and I start getting angry ...lol.

There is a double standard, but what are we going to do. I give my white friend the benefit of the doubt on the racial stuff, but I warn them not to get to comfy around my other black friends. that is just how it is.
