pour gasoline on your arms and light it. it will then scar your arms and scar tissue cannot grow hair. easy as 123!!!! BUT MAKE SURE YOUR DRINKING JACK DANIELS WHEN YOU DO IT, OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT FEEL IT!

Shaving your arms won't make the hair thicker, but it will make it more noticeable. So, yes, in a sense, it is worse. When you shave it, you cut it off at an angle that is prickly when it grows back. Secondly, because it is shorter, it tends to stand up, and that makes it more noticeable. Trust me, I've done it.

Nair or other home chemical removal products are, as someone already mentioned, are no good for your arms. Just stay away from them.

You can bleach the hair to make it less noticeable, but that is a lot of work and like anything else, you have to re-do it periodically. Another downside is that you don't get rid of it.

Waxing is a good solution. It lasts for a while and typically does make the hair grow back finer and less noticeable. Downside is that it is expensive to have done. You can get the at home ones, but they are hard to work with, rather messy, and you put yourself in pain.

Personally, I use an epilator. It is a little thing that looks like an electric razor, but is made up of little tweezers. It pulls the hair out, similar to waxing. It does grow back, but it is more fine and less noticeable. It costs about the same as a wax treatment, but you only pay once and it is your's, so you can use it whenever you want and in the privacy of your home. It hurts a little the first time, but it gets better over time.

I also agree that you should only get rid of it if it bothers you. You bf shouldn't have a say in what you do to your body.

YES! Get it all waxed off. It may hurt the first time or so, yet the end results will be wonderful. It actually reduces the hair growth as well.

Or purchase special hair bleach for just that hair, get it at Sally's and ask the counter girl, tell her what you need it for. The hair remains its just clear or very pale.

DO NOT chemical burn it off- like Nair. Those hair follicles are not the same as the thicker courser hair of underarms or legs.

Now- if this hair is bothering you then do it, if it is bothering him- screw him. Its your body girlfriend! Many beautiful woman have what might seem like "hairy" bodies and are OK. Choose wisely, its your body. "Hair free" is a personal choice and common trend, but look at the Men "actors" the trend is changing again. Fur is coming back around.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

well to get rid of it u have to shave it off. but there are lotions that are hair removal and are painless and u don't have ot shave. all u do is put the lotion of your arms let it stay depending on the brand u get and wash it off and the hair washes away too.

some brands are pop. and cheap like Nair, and Veet. u can get it at places like Walmart.

i shave my arms for the same reason...it won't grow back thicker (that's an old wife's tale) and as long as you keep up with it, you won't have any problems. if you don't want to shave them, then you can also wax or nair them...if it really bothers you, then you could also go for laser hair removal.

Nair works great - just remember that you'll have to do it every couple of weeks or it starts to come in (and those blunt ends are very unpleasant to rub against).
