Is it possible to buy a cingular go phone and put in my SIM card from a phone that already has a plan?

will it work?

Yes. Swapped a Pay As You Go SIM card with a post paid acct phone and made test calls..No prob. Just don't forget to save all you contacts to the SIM before moving it.

Yes, you may use a Cingular SIM card with any Cingular GSM phone. On a go-phone, the only part that's pre-paid is the SIM not the phone. The phone itself is really a promotional item to boost the sales of pre-paid.

Sure can. It's just a handest. Some of your extras may not work quite the same though. Texting, vmail, sending of video stuff like that.
