Hello, I think you mean Windows XP, not mx.
Here is the path to the system tools. First click on the start button on the bottom left hand side of your computer. Now go to programs. At the top of the program list is accessories. Follow the arrow to the right of accessories and go to the next column and down the list to system tools.
To delete cookies, either open your browser, click Tools at top, then Internet Options at the bottom of the Tool list. Now under the General Tab in the middle of the window, you will see a button that says, "Delete Cookies." Click this button and voila, your cookies are gone. Click ok at bottom of window to close. Do not use the X in this case to close the window.

Sweetcity's info on deleting cookies is incorrect. You do not need cookies to run any programs. All cookies are simply text files which a website which you visit places on your computer so that it recognizes you when you return to that website. For instance if you buy a plane ticket or do a search on Expedia, when you return to that website you will not have to reenter any information because a cookie was created. If you do delete the cookie, then you will have to put in the information again. Some periodicals like the NYTimes require you to sign in with a user name and password. The cookies allows the website to recognize you when you return. If you delete the cookies, the website will not recognize your user name and password and you will have to register again. So yes, cookies can be very helpful. But not all the time. Some cookies work as spy agents and can be responsible for pop ups on your computer. There is a way you can delete individual cookies but that gets to be a little complicated. In any case, YOU WILL NOT RUIN ANY PROGRAMS BY DELETING COOKIES.

NOTE....it is not a good idea to delete cookies. All programs need cookies. If you start to delete cookies, alot of your programs will not run properly or run at all.

What you want to do is delete your history instead.

Your system tools-
click on start
click on programs
click on accessories
click on system tools
clicking on disk clean up will bring up a box cleaning your system...then show you files envelopes...you can click on each one then drag and drop them into the recycle bin.

BUT DON'T DELETE COOKIES EVER.
