Does anyone know how much the PS3 will basically cost???

The PS3 will be 4990.00 for the basic and 599.00 for the deluxe version. There will be only 400.000 units at launch, so if you haven't pre-ordered one then you will have to wait until December or January for one. But Sony has said that they expect to have 4 million units by march of 2007. The PS3 is better then the Wii by a mile in terms of graphic, games, and game-play. And i think it will be better then the 360 because it has a huge range of tittles to choose from.

i read in EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) that the ps3 debut price will be 500.00 US$ with a 20gig drive, and 600.00 US$ for a 60gig drive. but luckily the Nintendo Wii, which i will be getting, is slated to be released with a price under 250.00 US$.

appx $599 for upgraded hard drive, $499 for standard issue when released (as of 09/26)--as with any prices this can go up/down closer to the time it's released in November

nintendo is to be released for less because it is inferior to the sony consoles and nintendo is smart enough to know that they cant compete with sony unless they sell their system for significantly cheaper.
