Historically the african american female has had to fend for herself and raise her own children. So many of the African american males are being raised by grandmothers an extension of their own mother. They haven't seen too many positive male role models. I have lived in several southern states and while I have met many warm black families ; I have met and known of far more children who are being raised in single parent homes while their "Black" fathers are absent. She has had to compensate for the lack of reliable strong male figures and doesn't want to be one of the many statistics. It is what makes them strong and demanding of all those that would seek to be an intimate part of her world. I think she is justified.

Black women are not difficult to be involved with maybe you just don't understand some of them. As for ruling over a black men, a person can only do what another person allows them to do. You have women with control issues just like you have men with control issues.
It is not a one way issue that you speak about it works both ways. We will never know why each other (meaning both sexes) do the things we do. It is up to the individual to accept or not accept how a person is and love them just because they are who they are.

I don't think that it's black women that are so hard to get along with. I have gone out with a few black men and they seem to think that they own you after one date. If black women try to rule over men maybe it's because they are afraid of all the white women out there that "{their men " are looking at and going out with.

To be precise it isnt all black women just some. Please do not stereotype us cause we are not all like that. Its just that some are very decisive and know what they want and will not take any crap from a man. Some are just really strong willed and independent. Im pretty sure its not just a black woman thing its a all women thing and Im sure that some caucasion men also get the same thing. So please stop judging

May be because black men want to sit back and let the black women take control when it is convenient . Then when it doesn't go the way you want, we are then difficult. Women are women no mater what color. There will be women who let things slide and there will be women who will get in your a*ss and let you know when you are wrong. It has nothing to do with color... It has everything to do with the man!!

i am not a black women but i know the kind of attitude you are talking about i happen to have the same. all relationship problems i think stem from how you had been raised. lots of women get dominated and get preyed upon when they are children so they try to set a boundary right of the bat so that men know what kind of treatment of them is exceptable and what is not. in order to protect their mind body and soul. be patient and good luck

We're really no more difficult than any other woman of any other race. Some of us will try to rule men while others will not. You just have to find the right woman.

Don't blame them.As you know ,most blk men want to play house and doctor,but will not commit to supporting or marriage.This leaves the women ,with child while father goes out for next conquest.They deserve better,but they get caught up in these meaning less relations.

i am not sure if its a partcular race and i am not convinced its cuz they are strong is why these certain women want to rule rheir men i tell you it rakes a very strong women to know what she wants and to go get it and when she decides to make a man her king she should be confident and strong enough to allow his strength rule when she doesnt she is usually the one with the issues god wanted it like that god rules over the church men have authority over their families but please dont abuse it which could be another reason why women wont give a man all authority we have proven to abuse it

When did race become an issue on difficulty? I know couple of Caucasian, and couple of Hispanics women that difficult to be involved with.
It's the individual.
