Nobody can answer this question for you; you have to discover those reasons on your own. If you want to get some introspection on an education/career that will fit your personality, try reading this book: "What Color Is My Parachute?" That should help you take a good look at yourself, and discover what could be the right career for you.
Good Luck!

Sit down with a piece of paper. Write down the 5 things you like to do most in your life. Take the top two and see what it would take scholastically to achieve that goal. (And I do not mean riding a skateboard or kissing, etc.) Try to find something that you deeply enjoy! I have been doing the same thing for 32 years and I have disliked it for the last 20 years. I wish that I had have gone to school to be someone more exiting!
Do you like excitement? Do you crave the mundane? Do you like people? Do like solitude? You need to take a good look at who you are also. If you like music, but you hate being around people, you do not want a job playing in front of large groups. You might want to look at being a studio musician. See what I mean?
I know that it can be a bit confusing. If you contact your local college, you can ask for help deciding through a counselor.

Good luck to you, I hope you choose well.

If you can go.....GO! Getting a 4 year degree puts you a leg up on getting many high paying jobs over those who only have a high school diploma. Once you have a degree, you are pretty much considered educated. This is why you should go. As for what to go for....depends on what you want to do. Reality is, the hardest degrees to earn are the ones that earn you the more prestigious and higher paying jobs such as Engineering and many other technical degrees. Many college grads complain about not being able to get a "higher paying" job they deserve. But that's because out of the thousands of graduates that there are many of them graduated with the easier to earn degrees (psychology, sociology, basket weaving, underwater knot-tying, etc.) I remember my last year of university, a professor walking in and setting 18 pages of chemical engineer employers looking for someone for their companies with the lowest paying one being 67 thousand a year starting. Hope this answer helps.

Are you a health phonetic? then maybe nutritionist would spark and interest. Do you like educating people? Teaching maybe... you have plenty of time just remember choose wisely..
