im 20 and she is 19 ive known her since she was 17. we talk almost daily for hours on end and i love her with every bone in my body. And she loves me as much ( i hope). problem is she hasnt seen me and she says she doesnt care what i look like ( i call bullsh*t i feel its going to interfere somehow) and i have seen her. i just never have a pik and now i have to go to homecoming with her on the 15th of oct.
i live in new york. she lives in oklahoma. $$$$ i want to risk it
but am afraid she will be like ewww and wham atleast 700dollars down the drain ( also i would be emotionally scarred for a while after that)
most of her family loves me ( i know nothing of the father) mother oma love me
did i mention its interracial too? she's white im black

Seriously, to ease your own troubled mind SEND HER A PICTURE. Don't waste your time buying her a plane tix only to discover that she's shallow when she sees you and decides that she's really not that attracted to you. I will admit, I used to be the same way as you, I was very shy and would never get on the webcam so that people could see me. I met my husband online and we talked for several months before he came to visit me. Before then we had already exchanged pictures. If you really like the girl then you shouldn't be afraid to show yourself to her. You say you love her, then stop being so self absorbed and send her a really flattering picture of yourself. If not, well, hopefully she'll like what she sees.

I don't want to sound harsh, because I don't intend it that way, but if you have known her for that long, there really is NO excuse to not have obtained a photo to send her. In all this time, you certainly could have made time to get a pic.
If nothing else, go to Kinko's or another copy center, pay them a few dollars and they'll scan a regular photograph of you into a computer. Then they can email the image to you, or put it on a disk for you to take home. You could also ask a friend with a digital camera to take some photos of you. I'm sure that of all your friends, at least one or two of them have cameras and would be glad to help you with such a small favor.
I mean really! :)

White women are naturally attracted to black men, but there is a lot of cultural baggage associated with interracial relationships. She will need to adjust to the situation. I'm sure it will work out alright, but homecoming has a lot of pressure associated with it already. Good Luck!

i think you need to be honest with her and tell her you would be more comfortable making the trip if you know the attraction was as mutual as you can hope it to be. have someone take a photo of you, develop it at walmart and put it in an envelope with a stamp to oklahoma. the total cost is wayyyyyyy much lower than $700 and i feel you should know for sure before you go.
