I wouldn't just assume automaticaly that they were talking to you, even a well placed "quit it" in a conversation could be directed at anyone without an associated proper noun behind it. Knock yourself out!

Why stop being you have almost lost a friend. May as well take it all the way. Nothing like being ingored by everyone you know. You get peace and quiet and left alone and you even get to be talked about behind your back. Who knows, you might get real lucky and do a three leged walk because you got someones food hung in your @ss.

Can I watch?

You should voluntarily stop pestering them unless you enjoy being violently made to stop pestering them against your will.

You should quit whatever you are doing that bothers them and you should say that you're sorry that you bothered them.

Find their tolerance threshold... by all means.... push it to the max! Especially with those who are much bigger, stronger, and meaner than you.

Isn't it obvious? Why would you even consider not quitting!
