Flowers. I love getting flowers and you can find some really nice ones on proflowers. com without breaking the bank. Or if you have a local florist tell them your budget and see if you can have them make something up and have it delivered to her. I get nice bouquets from my florist and it only costs $15-$20.
If she's into writing, perhaps a nice journal like they sell in Barnes & Noble.
If she wears jewelry, you could get her some earrings or perhaps a necklace.

gift card to a nail salon always goes over well with me ;) If you don't want to give a card... a cool bracelet (think silver not gold). Could always ask the sales girl for help... they love that kind of question. Good luck

the best things would be something she likes and or maybe she can keep for memory sake..
if u dunno wad she likes, try talking to her and find out abt something she have an interest for..
and about ur budget, try gift shops which sells something nice n not expensive..
mayb if u really wanna give her something memorable, make something for her..like mayb a simple card which u totally make urself or something..dat'll be very sweet...

a nice gift would be a martini set, like the yummy different flavors and sugars and a jigger.... you should be able to find something for 30 or under
