Let's write this out properly so that everyone understands it.
"to the second power" = ^2, ok?

10n + 3n^2 + 9n

Combine like terms:
3n^2 + (9n + 10n)
3n^2 + 19n

Now, factor out an "n" from both terms:
n(3n + 19)

Hope this is a clear explanation!
