i did get a boil under my eyelid...it hurt

Yes, they hurt soooo good.
A friend had what looked like a huge zit on the end of his nose that wouldn't go away & it turned out to be an ingrown hair. He said the hair was 2 inches long when the doctor pulled it out.

I twice had a boil inside my nose. I had to go the the doctor both times to have them lanced - hurt beyond belief.

Yes and they are very painful and can be impossible to pop unless it's near the inside edge.
