Why are do some people feel that these features are ugly when in reality they are not?

Because they are not features that come close to a white persons... but in my opinion eveyone, from ever race is beautiful, gurl.... dont feel bad about yourself.... you gotta know that there are a lot of people with dark skin ang big noses that are happy and beautiful... you've just gotta flaunt what you've got... and dont let anyone tell u ur ugly.... because no one is ugly, unless they have a horrible personality...

People are jerks. Society's idea of beautiful is constantly evolving. 300 years ago, chubby pastey chicks were in, sadly, now, not so much. I don't know why anyone would put down a certain skin colour. All that colour is, is a little difference in skin pigment. Who really cares about that? And the nose thing....well I guess this to shall pass. Perhaps someday we'll live in a society where all creatures, features, and everything in between are accepted and considered beautiful. Ha, right....we can always hope though.

I am one for going against the grain. Nobody has the right to tell anyone what they should or should not like. Be your own person. the he!! with everyone else.

i don't think dark skin is considered ugly because more whites are risking their health to get tans at a tanning salon. They don't like us because we have dark skin but they want to look like us. How ironic.
