I've got a date with this guy I'm really into. I just need some ideas for a nice, romantic first date. I'm a college student so I don't really have that big of a budget. What do you think?

The best way to have a great first date is to not to put too much expectation on it. Take it easy and have fun. Taking in a local play or going to a carnival or bowling or a sports game or the zoo are always fun and something different to just going out to dinner and a movie - which of course is the old standby.

I agree that an activity date is nice.
my suggestion is apple picking.
then if it goes well you can make a date for the next day to make pie.
even if you don't know how to make pie it will still get him over to your place.
and I'm not calling you a slnt, but there will be an opportune time when the pie is in the oven.

I don't know..big budgets don't necessarily equate to great dates...I don't think he's after your budget anyways LOL..maybe take a short train trip for dinner and back or whatever.

One of my favorite dates was when I made a picnic lunch (inexpensive) and went to a park. We took the foil that had wrapped some of the food, and ended up making boats and had boat races on the pond....having to blow the boats to the finish....I let him win, saying I was proud he could blow so well....

Activity dates,,,,, walk, jog, bike rides, pool halls and bowling, They are great conversation starters, Plus down time in talking is not so straining,

ask him to meet you somewhere and walk to a far away restraunt, and then catch a cab or walk back home, it'll give yall great time to talk, and if your really feelin him then hello, invite him in!!
