You can be of great service to our country, regardless of what branch you join.

I am partial to the Army, being that I served for 12 years.

However, the Air force has better living conditions and some really good education.

Talk to all the recruiters and don't let them pressure you. Get all the info you can garnish and make your decision from there.

Well if you are talking military service it kind of sounds like you are over qualified. If you are in deed interesting in military service I would suggest talking with various recruiters. I think it is a given that you would want to be an officer as opposed to enlisted. This offers a larger pay rate along with a more "management" position. With your education you might qualify for a direct commission in a needed branch such as the Army Engineers Corps. Also depending on how "tough" you want your living conditions to be I would suggest Air Force and Navy as "light" while Army and even more so Marines as "tough." I personally don't consider the Coast Guard a branch of the military.

With all that education, if I were you, I would sure look at the Army Corps of Engineers, though I am not sure they do chemical stuff. But, do look for the possiblity of becoming an officer if possible. They make a lot more money, and better housing. Why should a person with that many degrees become a private???

Whatever branch you decide to go into you will be able to get an awesome job, top of the line. Try the Navy or the Air Force.

Go with the army, it's the only service that will guarantee you the job you sign up for (as long as you don't become an officer). Your education will also go farther in the army; you can come in as a SPC and get your stripes within 18 months.

You might want to consider an oft forgotten branch, the Coast Guard.

Go into the Air Force to use more brains, or just get into the Dept. of Defense(civilian government jobs).

Army. The others are too restrictive to be able to take advantage of your background.
