i had abortion 5weeks ago so ive been waiting for my period i am spotting now but stopped i had sex on 9/11 like a dummy didnt use protection took a pregnancy test today it was negative...for some odd reason i think i am pregnate i was told after an abortion the first period could be lite or heavy...i am so stressed out

I can not believe that you had unprotected sex again. I am sorry to be rude, but COME ON!!!!!! The only thing you can do is wait. Take a test in about 3 weeks if you do not get a heavy period, and I hope to god that your not pregnant again. (abortion is not a form of birth control)

There is always the possibility that you could be pregnant. Abortions, however, do throw your whole system out of whack. It might be too early to tell through a HPT whether you are pregnant or not. A blood test could tell you for sure, but you can always go to Planned Parenthood later on and get another test. You are going to get a lot of negative responses on here, but don't let it stress you out even more. You have already admitted that you made a mistake having sex that soon. If you are pregnant, are you prepared to have another abortion? Or would you look into your other options? Whatever you do make another educated decision and good luck.

It was your decision to have an abortion, and you have every right to make that decision. Don't let anyone make you think you don't have that right. It isn't stupid, trying to raise a baby when you obviously aren't old enough, don't have the means, now that's stupid.

That being said, why, why, would you keep having sex without protection? It's obvious you don't feel up to having a child, so use protection. Abortion is not a valid form of birth control. You can go to the health clinic and get information on birth control, maybe get on the pill. At the least go to the drug store and buy some condoms, if he doesn't want to use them then don't have sex with him.

At any rate, you being stressed could have a heavy influence on your period making it nonexistent. Wait another week then take the test again. I hope for your sake you aren't pregnant again.

You've got to stop having unprotected sex. Your body isn't made to get pregnant, have an abortion, and then in a month get pregnant again. If you are pregnant, will you be keeping this baby or having another abortion? Please start using condoms. If you don't have a period within the next 2 weeks, take a test or see the doctor.

Not sure but there was other options you could of took abortion no way adoption would of been my choice if I didn't want the baby then you go & use no protection lord have mercy get yourself to a womens center family planning they'll give you free condoms & maybe the pill.Good Luck

I think you need to do some soul-searching and some growing-up before you have sex again. You're obviously not mature enough to have sex (and I'm guessing not married..) I'm sure you are stressed, but I have no sympathy for you...you got pregnant once and killed an innocent baby, and then you go out and ignorantly have unprotected sex again. I can understand one mistake (we're all human) I don't know what you're looking for, but I get the feeling that something is missing from your life and you're trying to find it through sex. Unless you're in a loving marriage, sex is empty. God loves you, and he will fill the emptiness in your life. I would suggest consulting a Christian counselor. (Where I live, we have a non-profit organization called Sav-a-Life- they're wonderful counselors to talk to; they provide options other than abortions, and I think they provide post-abortion counseling) Please don't get intimate with anyone else until you're in a better emotional state. Recognize your self-worth! Don't let just any guy get to be with you- be picky! You're worth it.

after an abortion you usually will spot or bleed for a bit. Then you will resume your period as normal. As long as nothing went wrong during or after the procedure. There is always the possiblity of becoming pregnant again at anytime after an abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, live birth, whatever. That is where we learn to grow up and either take care our our responsibilities or do something to prevent them. I will not call you names or talk down to you, but you need to stop. Abortions are not there to use as a form of birth control, there are things out there to prevent them, So if you want to continue to have sex please me and everyone else, and all the unborn use protection. your Dr. to give you the Pill or just ask for a condem, Yes I sure

its actually takes a month before pregnancy shows up. Contrary to popular belief, women are pregnant for 10 months, not 9. wait a bit, then take a test, and if your prego, i suggest another abortion only because you dont seem ready to handle a kid, youre still young and irresponsible. I would also suggest another form of birth control other then condoms. for example the patch or the shot. something that works without you having to remember to use it 'in the heat of the moment' or better yet, get your tubes tied.

Y make the same mistake twice. Use a condom next time and if you are pregnant keep the baby. The abortion probably messed up your period. Go to the dr.
