I'm 28 weeks pregnant, and everyone tells me I'm hardly showing too. I feel like I am, but sometimes when I look in the mirror, I feel like my belly is small for being this far along. The Dr told me I'm doing fine, and my stomach is measuring normal for 28 weeks, so not to worry. My friend is about 6 weeks further than me, and the last time I saw her she wasn't that big but then I saw her two weeks later, and I swear her belly grew a lot! It was huge! haha! So, I think it just takes time...my Dr said not to worry, that my belly will get bigger closer to my due date.
So, don't worry, as long as the Dr says you are measuring fine, I wouldn't worry about it. You aren't the only one! :)
Congrats and good luck!! ♥

Don't even worry about it. When your doctor does your measurements he can get an educated guess at how big your baby is. Also ultrasounds are fairly accurate at figuring weight. I had twin boys 5 years ago. Everyone said I would gain 90-100 pounds with twins. I did not. I gained 62. I have had many people tell me they gained at least that with one baby. Anyway, I had two beautiful healthy baby boys. One weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 18 inches long. The other weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19 inches long. And I only carried them to 38 weeks due to PUPPS. They have always been exceptionally healthy kids. Don't let other people worry you. It will drive you nuts. Believe me I know.

I was really small my whole pregnancy. I was all baby! I had a 8lb 8oz baby. It all depends on how thebaby sits, how much weight you've gained. A doctor can only guess at the weight of a baby through an ultrasound, my OB wouldn't even give me a guess because it is so inaccurate. He was very surprised at how big my son was, he really though he'd only weigh about 7lbs!! I had a friend, and she is a petite girl, she was absolutly huge! I couldn't believe how big she was and her baby weighed just a little bit more than mine. Size during pregnancy has no bearing on how big the baby is.

A lot of women don't really look pregnant until they get a few months away from giving birth. I didn't really look pregnant until I was about 27 weeks along. You might take longer. Some women who are a little overweight don't show as quickly because they have extra tissue. If your doctor feels you are gaining weight at the correct rate, I wouldn't worry too much.

Well, it depends how you are build and if it is the first baby...usually the first baby doesn't show that much and if you are tiny than you'll have a tiny belly, that doesn't have to mean that your baby is going to be too small. Have you had ultrasounds? They can tell you how much the baby weighs.

What did your doctor say when you were measured? It all depends on your size before pregnancy.
