just get those pretty red south american
grapes, dip them in egg whites mixed with
a little water then sprinkle with sanding sugar
lay on racks to dry

You might be able to get them from a Cake Decorating Company. All sorts of things - flowers, petals, grapes? can be fashioned out of a special frosting to resemble the real thing. I don't know your location, but if you advertise locally, there may be someone who knows someone else who could help you out.
