Well, fresh water is dirty at a certain degree. It depends on how you define dirty (is there mud, sand, other compounds than H2O? You decide).

In fact, the cleanest water is distilled water, where only H2O molecules are found. If you boil food in a sausepan, all the water vapor/steam goes on the lid. During condensation (where gas turns into liquid...physical property), the steam is distilled water. All the renaments remain at the bottom of the sausepan.

In fresh water, there will still be various molecules; however, there aren't as much molecules as salt water.

Absolutely. Do you mean treated water? In a science class in college we tested many different types of water for lead. To our surprise there was as much lead in all the bottled water as in tap water. The biggest surprise was when we tested "baby" water. They had the same amount of lead in it as well.
