do I fend off the persistent ones? How did you do it?

You too be persistent. Stick with your decision. You will be glad that you definitely did. Get your priorities straight and tell them maybe if they are still around when you are 20 you might think about it. That should calm them down a bit. Take care and good luck. :)

GUrl, u have the power to say no. Its in your hands. Just tell them how it is, plus you dont have to give anyone reasons, u have ur reasons and thats good enough. Just say no, stay focused on your studyies and when ur ready for a relationship, the perfect guy suited for you will come. Good luck sweetie.
