I have been trying to follow up with the progress of the two teams but i gave up because it seems as if neither of the teams are doing well at all. Give me a quick run down of what happened to both teams please.

The Cubs have been mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs since the end of August. The White Sox just recently were eliminated from being in the playoffs after the Twins clinched the AL wildcard spot.

The White Sox just missed the chance of even being in the playoffs yesterday. The Cubs are last place in their division behind Pittsburgh. They have the Worst record in the National League.

Both of them terribly stink and are not worth knowing about. A quick run down: Neither of them will be in the playoffs this year.

sorry to say the sox couldn't keep up with the rest of their division and the cubs couldn't win by default.
