Okay, you were a bit clunky about it, but you expressed that you need a little room in your relationship.
What do you miss about being single? Hanging more with friends? Doing stuff alone? Do you feel a little claustrophobic with your boyfriend?
Retrace your steps, apologize for the insensitive way you expressed your feelings, and then explain exactly what you meant. Let him know that perhaps you need a little breathing room. Assure him that you want to be together (if that's true) but there are some things that you haven't been able to do since the start of the relationship.
His maturity level be apparent with his reaction.

Why did you say it? He's probably more hurt than mad. Probably the best way to fix it is to spend a few days apart and figure out what you really want and not go back with him just because you feel bad or just because you're lonely or just because you're confused. Get uncofused and get your words straight before you talk with him again. It's only fair to him and to yourself.

You expressed your feelings and their is nothing wrong with that. If you love him, tell him so. If he can't take the heat, then he needs to get out of the kitchen (old saying). Their is nothing wrong w/ missing your freedom. I would suggest you evaluate the relationship. Is he con trolling? Is he pouting to controll you? Are you happy? I'm guessing your young, you have plenty of time to settle down, just don't settle.

will he be at this party? If he is going to be there than go to the party BY YOURSELF and try and hook up with him there. Maybe after seeing you show up solo he will think twice about what you said and be more acceptable to listening to why you said what you did and what exactly you meant.

Get single.............and see how much you miss the LACK of freedom that dating creates.

You were probably truthful about what you said to him.

If he can't handle your honesty...............find someone who will.

DON'T change what you think and feel just to make a boy-friend more comfortable.

There is someone who will appreciate you for EVERYTHING that is YOU.

Go find him...........QUICK !!!!!!
