In most cases they are gone. You can download some shareware or evaluation programs from places like www.cnet.com or www.zdnet.com which allows you to retrieve files. Those programs are mainly used for crashed or damaged hard drives. You can give it a try. I have used those programs to retrieve files from damaged harddrives and was surprised to see some files that I had deleted on there. So I guess that unless you format a harddrive they might reside somewhere till that space is overwritten by a new program.

is possible recover the lost, deleted, and ereased files if you can use a program like esay recovery or so, but the sucessful recovery of thah important files depends on if you have used repetidly the hard disk in which the lost files were.
the hdd in wich the files were must be connected as slave drive and in another hdd must be installed the recovery program, then run the program selecting the "lost files hdd" this porocess can take hours and the files mus be retrived manually.
several companies offers recovery services you cand yahoo them but mostly offers a expensive services.

You can look in you temp files. To access them you go to control panel, then performance and maintenance, disk clean up, click on the temp file , and fish around the files for your pic. Be sure to cancel the clean-up. If anyone uses your computer you can see what they were looking at too. Have fun.

look for a free undelete program on the internet and try that program. But remember that the computer might have already written over the old pics if you wait to long to try and undelete them!

The recycle bin is for storing files you delete, just in case you want them back. If you've emptied it, they're gone. Lesson learned... double-check the recycle bin before emptying.
