I had a brief interest in rap when I was younger. I bought all of those Right On magazines and had posters of rappers all over my wall. Mind you I was the daughter of a minister! My father never bugged out about it because I soon lost interest and started listening to Anita Baker and jazz music.
However, I do remember Kriss Kross, Special Ed, Big Daddy Kane, Naughty by Nature and EPMD. I am not sure how these rappers stand up against someone like Jay-z or Nas, but this question brought back a lot of memories.
