I save it in a jar and when it gets full I take it to the bank where they have this coin sorter they pour it into that counts and sorts it. Funny you sdhould ask this--we just took our change in the other day and had over $135.00!

I save every penny, and never spend the change I rec. from a dollar. Then it's rolled twice a year and used for something like a nice dinner and hotel room for the night ot we my use it for play, or amusement park.

Yes I do. If you take it to the coinstar machine (you don't have to have it in rolls) they charge you like 7 cents on the dollar! So I roll it and take it to the bank. I am frugal. : ) My bank doesn't break them open they weight them as long as it adds up they take them.

SOMETIMES, REMINDS ME OF DOING THE SAME WITH MY GRANDPARENTS. BUT NOW DAYS YOU CAN JUST TAKE THEM TO THE BANK AND LET THE MACHINE DO THE WORK FOR YOU.
