Absolutely! It's like a requirement at our family Christmas party! Even my mom does it and she's almost 50. ^__^

I had to... two years ago? Yeah. The little girl I was babysitting and took to the mall was scared, but Santa said that if she would feel better about it, I could sit on his lap too.
... I think he groped me, but I got a candy cane and the kid was happy, so whatever.

I take my grandkids to the mall, and their moms, dads. they all have their pic taken with santa, SOOOO I am a 70 yr old, a lil heavy, yet I alone had my pic taken with Santa, then my 3 daughters and son did the same, The grandkids still remember that and I remember the laughing on their faces when I had it done, priceless Pic is still framed and on wall or cabinet enjoy life

No, I don't sit on Santa's lap because I am a very heavy woman .I don't want to hurt that poor old man's lap.

To the old man himself, the thought of a 19 year old sitting on his lap would be disturbing. Santa would be thinking "Ok, this guy either has a red coat fetish, or he's just trying to hit on me...".

a few years ago I went for pics with santa and put it in a frame where the opposite pic was of me on santa's lap as a child. I gave it to my parents and they were thrilled
