if it's 6.8 on three sides then it's NOT a "Right triangle" so you cannot use the Pythagorean Theorem (A Squared Plus B Squared Equals C Squared)

Therefore it's 6.8 * 6.8 divided by 2 or 23.12

The pathagorean theorm is a squared + b squared = c squared. That is the formula to determine the length of the sides of a right angle triangle. There are lots of other formula for triangles....like the area = one half height * base....you need to clarify you question.
