lately when i go to pass a astool the stool is dark greecolored and today i used the bathroom and there was alot of maroon colored stuff i dont know if it was blood or if it was something i had eaten earlier in the day please help me

What did you eat today if it was maroon or red then you may be fine. If you didn't eat anything of that color than get to the doctor now! they will do a simple test to examine your stool. Ask yourself has the number of times you go to the bathroom changed? Are you on any medication that could effect your bowel movement's to make them discolored? The best one who could answer these question's are you and your Doctor.

Any unusal stool colors should be reported to your Doctor,maybe a virus or something you ate or etc....

dark green is usually from a lot of salads or foods containing iron, and dark maroon can be from beets, but it doesnt hurt to see your doctor.

Its hard for us to know. Do you hurt? Do you feel sick? Im not sure what is going on, but if you dont feel well and it continues, Id go to the doc. If you feel ok, I wouldnt worry about it.
