There are hundreds of DVD burning programs out there on the internet.. so hard to say without knowing the name of your burning software.

Also know that you can't just drag n drop files to your DVD burner icon under My Computer -- if that's what your trying

Some DVD burning programs have an option to "keep last project" -- so it remembers which files you burned last time.. this might be why it says it's full..'cause it is keeping the files from last time so it has zero room.

If this is the case, there is probably an option to 'clear files'
Try right clicking on the DVD burner software in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and see if there is a logical option to delete previous projects or files.

If not, launch the DVD software and go into the options.

at first, the undeniable fact that the laptop is asserting DVD-RAM ability that it will examine / write DVD discs yet, dvd readers / writers are backward compatable with CD's so as that shouldn't reason a undertaking. I too have suffered on the hands of Tesco media. in no way Maxell nevertheless. have you ever had thepersistent for long? it would want a lens clean. additionally, something which you haven't any longer suggested, and no one's asked is, is yourpersistent an inner / exterior one? I unquestionably have an exterior USB DVD author and, the cable that connects laptop - DVD participant could be a source of many wasted discs. that is properly worth procuring a particular USB 2.0 lead for it. Your DVD author won't have write secure practices on it. that could be a characteristic of the disc. in case you write a CD-R / DVD-R and don't specify which you're springing up a multisession disc, then the disc itself will then become examine-in easy terms yet, a clean disc will nonetheless be written to with out adjustments. i might say try the lens clean first. in the journey that yourpersistent is a USB one, then make certain you have USB 2.0 ports on the laptop, and a good USB 2.0 bring about connect the laptop to thepersistent. If that is inner then while you're effective with the insides of a laptop, disconnect thepersistent and re-connect it back to work out if that enables. wish you get it working back :-)
