I have a 350 motor w/ roller rockers, comp 9000 mallory ignition system, etc.. My problem is my carb. Isn't there a float that needs adjusting??? where is it and how do i go about adjusting it? It seems to be running rich.
Or, does someone know of any good liks i could go to to find out more??

i own a repair shop,,and i,ll give you some good advice take it somewhere and let someone do it for you,,there hard to get right,,i been at it for 36 yrs,and i still hate to see a carter carb come in the shop,,there hard to get right,also if you get the float out real bad it will flood out on you,and you,ll never get it started good luck i hope this help,s.

your float is in the carb.take off the top of your carb. and get a guage and hold down your needle valve and put the guage across the carb. and the top of the float and adjust the float,by bending the float arms.you will have to get a float guage.also you can run in both adjusting screws under the carb,until they both seat and then run both of them out about 2 to 3 turns until the motor sets and runs smooth.hope i did some help to you.

It's not that simple....and could be a real nightmare if you take it apart.

Try setting both the idle mixture screws at 1 1\2 turns out from seated.
Up to two turns....if needed

Easy, replace it with a Holley then you will have no more adjustments ever!
