Not only do I have a massive roid, but I am expecting in 5 days. And I know it is only going to get worse... how do I make this get better?

Cold pack tonight. On 20 minutes then off 20 until pain relieved. No bearing down, straining , or carrying anything. Call Dr in morning. Witch Hazel is also very good to use. Soak cotton balls and apply to area. Keep feet up. Hope this helps you get through until someone can evaluate you. Congratulations on your new baby!

This may sound gross, but try to gently push it back inside where it belongs.Manually placing it will be a little uncomfortable, but it does work in some cases.After that, use an over the counter cream or suppository to reduce the swelling.

Bless your heart!!!! My daughter is due Oct 16 and she had a really bad hemmorhoid about a month ago. She used ice, Tucks pads (keep them in the refrigerator) and take Metamucil or something like that daily to keep your stool soft. I feel for you!!!

I agree with the first answer on the page. Tucks...stool softner... or if you want, try preperation H wipes(my doctor gave me some and I use them after I wipe myself in the bathroom, cause thats when it hurts the most.

Use Preparation H suppositories and medicated wipes for hemorrhoids. These really helped me after I had my children.

prep. H for pain....when you go number 2 whip your tushi with baby wipes or...after you go number 2 wash your hiney bone in the shower...dont be aggrivating it with toilet paper...Good luck in labor.

you need to tell your doctor you could make it a lot worse when you start pushing other wise try tucks
