First try talking to him about it tell him you feel neglected. If he doesn't care then give him a taste of his own medicine. Find some good friends to go out with, have a good time. See if it matters to him. You need to enjoy your life. If he doesn't want to be a part of it then there is nothing you can do. With my hubby its not friends its the recliner the remote and the TV. If you've been with him for 5 years and you still haven't gotten him to spend more time with you, then there is something wrong with your relationship.
Talk to him about it...and if not ...well..you really can't expect him to change after he's been so content for so long.

my ex left me recently due to the similar problem u having now.
let him know that if he doesnt spend more times with you, eventually you will feel neglected. seriously.
perhaps it's good to sit and talk. it's very much needed.
