This week, Robert F. Kennedy has another article out about our election process -- before you reply, please read it. If you have different information that refutes his article, please share it in your response.

It is one thing to say that "all elections are crooked" and that "both sides have their ways to do this" and another to accept this as reality to our election system.

NO side should be able to manipulate elections and that is what we should be concerned about. So, will the next election be hacked?

Interesting....did anyone read the article? Not one person mentioned the fact that companies are involved in the vote counting process.....

and it seems to me that absentee is a way to send your vote to nether-nether land -- who receives it? who processes it? who makes sure that it goes into the correct place? who makes sure that no one acts improperly with it?

Guard the electoral process so that hacking will not occur to tilt the votes in favor of the loser.

All presidential elections are not fair to Begin with, they say every vote counts, but that is simply not true. Each state has so many electoral votes, depending on the state and the majority of the votes determines who that state votes for so if 49% voted for Kerry and 51% voted for Bush then the whole state voted for Bush (what kind of crap is that?)

The other thing is that electors, the people that actually do the voting for the state, (who are they and how did they get that job?) do NOT have to vote for the person that got the most votes in that state, they can actually, legally, vote for whom ever they want to.

So can you tell me how any of that is a fare, and yes legal, way to run an election? The whole thing needs to be revamped to something that makes sense to the American people..

No side should EVER be influenced our goverment is supposed to be run fairly and justly! If our officials can not uphold that duty then they should not be in that position. Sure i could say i hope the democratic party is swayed so that they win. But i know its wrong. Look at it from all point of views. People need to stop being biast!

The election process is fine except everyone that votes should have to show identification. Don't believe much in Rolling Stone. The 2000 and 2004 election was fair. Democrats who tried to register every but Mickey Mouse always scream cheating when they lose.

The Republicans have become very good at stealing elections

Chances are that most likely yes, but the effects will be nilled. Like you said both sides have their...ways, of hacking, but both sides can only do it as much as the opposing side, as to not be caught...if they did it anymore it would be obvious.
