It is the light house and bridge that appears by one of the end zones. If you have been to a Pats game, then you would know exactly what I'm talking about. I think now it is just the light house and no bridge. I just went to a game on Sunday.

in accordance to the Patriots information superhighway website, a particular function of Gillette Stadium is the bridge and 12-tale extreme lighthouse above between the entrances. the variety on the sector is the variety or icon for the stadium and represents this unique function.

I don't know what was there before Sunday night's game, but I think from now on they should just paint an image of a giant white flag. They are so going nowhere this year.
