To girls that start to poke fun- turn and say you know you must be behind development if you don't get your already...

All the girls have their period by now I bet so point out at least you and they aren't different and at least you use the proper things and ask if they just bleed into their panties?? I'm sure it will stop them dead.

For guys point out at least you don't have to change your sheets every night so mom wont find out they have been dreaming about the latest lingere catalog that came in the mail.

School isn't easy and being picked on is rough and it does suck. Don't show fear and fight back with words showing you are a smart quick person and they will be less likely to attack.

We can spout all the adult psycho babble we want and say ignore them but relaity is you'll just get it worse so stand up and send a well thought out comment right back showing you don't care and you know they have secrets too and it will help I promise.

Good luck and try to remember HS does not last forever and that type of thing does not happen in the real world.

You HAVE to go to school and if someone brings it up, just genuinely laugh. As you get older it becomes a part of nature.
Now you feel like the one being embarrased, but give it a while and you'll realise that everyone thinks the guy was an idiot.
DO NOT get upset, then you'll be remembered about it. Just laugh, and everyone will think you're really cool.
They certainly don't need to know how embarrased you are about it. Just laugh and say, "Ah, well, every girl gets it eventually, and it's not like guys don't have their embarrasing stuff, right?"
It'll work like a miracle. You'll actually score some cool social points if you take it into your stride.

Why would you be embarrassed? Think about it. A pad is a natural thing for a girl. No worries! The guy is obviously very immature and he will be the one that will be embarrassed. He will act cocky for sure but deep down he knows that was very foolish. Truth? He did it to get your attention, in the only childish way he knows. I'm sure he has a crush on you, although you'd never believe it. Just walk into school, hold your head high and if anyone says anything to you about it just say, "Oh those darn girlie-girl things that we have to carry around..." then smile, flip your head around and strut away. Remember Legally Blonde when they made fun of her when she was the only one dressed up in a halloween costume? That's the attitude! If you are sure of yourself and think to yourself, why would anyone dislike me because of something as silly as that???... then your reactions will be perfectly fine.
Now head up, shoulders back, smile & strut!
Every cosmogirl knows!!!

Boys are not as mature girls. It all human nature woman have a period every month. I can understand you being embarrassed but you will be OK. Maybe he likes you and was trying to get your attention. I had a boy try to fight me everyday he was always in my face.It wasn't until years later when he had matured that he told me he had a crush on me. I told him it didn't seem like it because he always did something bad.He said he was trying to get my attention. This might be the case for you also. Hold you head up things will be OK.

Going to school would be better than not going at all. It would seem like you were to embarrassed. You might be but don't show it. Face everyone. remember every1 else probably has their period too. it doesn't matter what other people think. That is their problem. When you go to school you'll figure out that no one cares!

Honey, what's there to be embarrassed of? HE threw the fit, remember?
Go to school as if nothing happened. Things will die down soon. Anyone who won't let this go for a long time has no life of their own. They aren't worth your tears.

If I was you, I'd cover his entire locker in pads and tampons. Who cares if everone saw your pad - it's a natural part of life for women. Besides, someone will fart or embaress themselves and everyone will forget what happened to you.

Calm down, it's just a pad. All women need them and use them. Trust me, when you get a little older, nobody gives a crap if someone sees your pads or tampons in your purse or something. But if you really want, take another one tomorrow, and stick it on his back...pretend you're patting his back, but stick a pad on him. You'll get over your embarrassment pretty quickly.

By this age where you have the inconvenience of carrying around a pad or tampon...its life...it happens...and if this boy wants to be immature...don't let it bother you...he's dumb and you're a girl and you'd rather be prepared than unprepared, right?
